Vice President Kamala Harris has secured enough delegates to be named the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee. Many top Democrats, including President Joe Biden, have rallied around Ms. Harris as their preferred candidate. President Biden dropped his reelection bid on July 21 in a statement posted on X. Ms. Harris’s campaign has set a new record for the most presidential candidate donations within a 24-hour period. The vice president has wasted no time in hitting the campaign trail.
