A man suspected of murdering a woman in Arizona in 2001 who fled the country before his trial has been extradited from Argentina, officials said.

Paul Eischeid, 46, was a Hells Angels at the time of the murder, according to court records.

Eischeid is accused of punching a woman, Cynthia Garcia, 44, after she criticized some of the Hells Angels’ activities outside of a bar known as a Hells Angel hangout in Arizona, court records obtained by the Phoenix New Times stated.

He then stomped on Garcia’s head until she lost consciousness and then, along with fellow Hells Angel member Kevin Augustiniak, threw her in the trunk of a car and drove to a remote area of the desert before stabbing her to death.

The pair of men stabbed her 27 times, according to the court records.

Eischeid was arrested two years later, after being indicted for drug trafficking and RICO violations, including kidnapping and homicide, stemming from the murder of Garcia, reported KTVK.

Eischeid was released prior to the trial with an ankle bracelet but he removed the bracelet and fled the country utilizing a fake passport.

He was added to the U.S. Marshals’ “15 Most Wanted” list in 2007, before being tracked to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2011 but he fought his extradition in the country’s legal system.

However, the Argentinian government approved Eicheid’s extradition in June after he had exhausted all his appeals. He returned to the U.S. on July 17 and is being held without bond in Maricopa County, Arizona.

“Paul Eischeid, the Charles Schwab stockbroker during the day, and a Hell’s Angel gang member at night, is now in the Maricopa County Jail, 15 years after he fled to Argentina,” said U.S. Marshal David Gonzales in a statement, according to KTVK.

“Eischeid and fellow Hell’s Angel Kevin J. Augustiniak were charged in the horrific murder of Cynthia Garcia, a 44-year-old mother of six. Garcia was severely beaten, thrown in the trunk of a car, taken to the desert, stabbed 27 times and was partially decapitated.”
