Report Says US Not Ready for Global War, Analyst Points to Stockpile Shortages

A report by the Commission on the National Defense Strategy says the United States is not ready for a global war. It says the Chinese regime is investing in the Indo-Pacific, eroding U.S. dominance in the region, while Russia is posing major risks in outer space and cyberspace.

According to Kervin Aucoin, the former lead Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) coordinator for the U.S. Army and the host of “This Week Explained” podcast, America’s unpreparedness partly stems from depleted stockpiles, due to arming Ukraine as it defends from Russian invaders.
