U.S. companies saw record-low profits in China last year, based on a survey by the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.
Less than half of businesses are optimistic about the next five years. Companies said the top challenge was geopolitical tension between the United States and China. On top of that, companies are concerned about China’s slowing growth.
