Former President Donald Trump and the owner of X, Elon Musk, are slated to do a live interview on the social media platform on Monday at 8 p.m. ET. Musk says the live interview will be unscripted and is asking X users to pose their questions.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered a guided-missile submarine to the Middle East on Sunday, and is has also ordered the USS Abraham Lincoln Aircraft Carrier Strike Group to sail to the area more quickly. The move was made as Israel continues to prepare for an expected retaliation from Iran.
In his most detailed public remarks on Ukraine’s cross-border incursion to date, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the attack is an attempt by Ukraine to stop Russia’s offensive in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas region. He also said Ukraine is trying to gain leverage in possible future peace talks.
