Trump’s campaign confirmed that shots were reported near his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, where the former president was golfing.
Authorities in Venezuela say six foreigners were arrested for allegedly plotting to kill President Maduro. The group includes three Americans, two Spaniards, and one Czech citizen, all detained on Saturday. Venezuela’s interior minister announced the arrests on state television, claiming the CIA led the alleged plot. The U.S. State Department rejected that claim as “categorically false.”
Officials in Ukraine say Russia struck an apartment building in the city of Kharkiv, injuring dozens of civilians and killing one person. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy repeated his call for more military support following the attack. He once again pleaded with allies to allow Ukraine to use their weapons for long-range strikes into Russia.
