Tropical Storm Debby made its second landfall this morning—this time near Bulls Bay, South Carolina, roughly 20 miles northeast of Charleston. The National Hurricane Center said the storm had sustained wind speeds of 50 miles per hour as it moved inland. The storm regained strength over warm water on Aug 7. off the Carolinas’ coast.
Federal prosecutors are accusing Hunter Biden of once agreeing to foreign lobbying, with new court filings on Aug. 7 alleging he had agreed to lobby U.S. officials. Prosecutors say it was on behalf of a Romanian businessman.
