Lack of New Dams Driving US Water Shortage: Meteorologist

Experts are now warning that some U.S. cities may soon face a “day zero” water crisis. That’s the day when the water supply runs out and officials cut tap water to communities. According to Watergen, a company based out of Israel, cities from Los Angeles and Phoenix to Miami and Atlanta are at risk of these day zero events due to saltwater contamination and drought. NTD speaks with Brian Sussman, a veteran meteorologist and TV and radio host, who says building new dams may help alleviate the water shortage.
