A study published in Psychological Review links correct breathing to brain health, impacting our emotions and attention spans. It was also found that improper breathing is linked to a higher risk of anxiety and depression.

NTD gets some tips on how to breathe properly from Travis Steffens, the founder and CEO of The Breath Source app. He recommends starting by inhaling through the nose for a count of five seconds before exhaling through the nose for a count of six seconds.
