Rep. John Duarte (R-Calif.) spoke with NTD about the threat posed to U.S. national security by China buying strategically located farmland within close proximity to U.S. military bases across the country. Mr. Duarte, who sits on the House Committee on Agriculture, also discussed the implications for specialty crop growers in the Farm Bill, recently passed by the House.
