As Congress stalls on a bill that has funding earmarked for supporting Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was in Washington today to meet with President Joe Biden and congressional leaders.
NTD spoke to foreign policy expert William Ruger to get his insight on Mr. Zelenskyy’s chances of securing more aid before Congress breaks for the holidays.
“There’s a declining level of support for aid in the American public, particularly on the Republican side,” Mr. Ruger said. “Plus, a lot of the things that the Ukrainians desire, in terms of munitions, we simply just don’t have available.”
