The couple revealed the news of their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, captioning the post “Us.”

“I had a whole plan. It went to perfection and now we just get to enjoy being engaged, planning a wedding,” Reeve said, adding, “I’m the luckiest guy in the world. Thank you for all the love you’ve shown.”
Reeve’s friends and ABC colleagues took to social media to congratulate the couple, including James Gunn, who directed the upcoming “Superman: Legacy” movie in which Reeve will appear in a cameo as a TV reporter. “Wonderful! Congratulations to the both of you!” the director wrote.

Will Reeve is the son of the late “Superman” star Christopher Reeve and his wife, Dana Reeve. Reeve’s father, who was paralyzed from the neck down after a horse-riding accident in 1995, died in 2005 at the age of 52. Two years later, Reeve’s mother Dana, an actress and singer, died of lung cancer at age 44.
Reeve serves on the board of directors of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, an organization with the mission of finding cures for spinal cord injuries by advancing innovative research and improving quality of life for individuals and families impacted by paralysis, according to the foundation’s website.
Prior to beginning his career in broadcast television in 2014, Reeve spent two summers as an intern for GMA. He eventually went on to be an ESPN correspondent and anchored the “MSG Hockey Show.” He appeared on ABC shows and platforms such as SportsCenter, College Gameday, E:60, and ESPN Radio, according to his ABC biography.
Reeves returned to ABC News in 2018, reporting on various stories and contributing to “Good Morning America,” “World News Tonight with David Muir,” “Nightline,” ABC News Live, and ABC News Radio.
