A Wells Fargo employee in Arizona scanned into work on Aug. 16, and four days later her body was discovered in her cubicle, Tempe Police confirmed.

Police identified the worker as Denise Prudhomme, 60, who clocked into work around 7 a.m. on Friday. There were no further records of her scanning in or out of the office, police told NTD via email.

Officers responded to the Tempe Wells Fargo office location on Aug. 20 after on-site security called about a worker. Police arrived at the scene and discovered Prudhomme dead in her office located on the third floor of the building. She was pronounced dead at 4:55 p.m., authorities said.

A spokesperson from Wells Fargo said in a statement, they are dedicated to the safety of their staff and informed employees affected by this event that counselors are available for support.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague, Denise Prudhomme. Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones, and we are in contact to ensure they are well supported during this difficult time. We are committed to the safety and wellness of our workforce,” the spokesperson said.

There is an ongoing investigation, although authorities stated there were no signs of foul play.
