The Israel Defense Forces and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are reportedly in disagreement over how to move forward in Israel’s war with Hamas.

The New York Times reported recently that Israeli generals are prepared for a truce that would leave Hamas in power in Gaza. The New York Times quotes anonymous security officials as saying that a truce would give Israel time to prepare for a possible war with Hezbollah.

Aryeh Lightstone, a retired special envoy for the Abraham Accords, joined NTD in the studio to provide his analysis of the situation in Israel.
