President-elect Donald Trump announced Sunday that Lebanese-American businessman Massad Boulos would serve as his next senior adviser on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs. This came as conflict continued in the region, with rebels advancing in Syria and Russia joining the fray.

NTD spoke with Alex Traiman, CEO and Jerusalem bureau chief of the Jewish News Syndicate, who said that Boulos’s ties to every major party in Lebanon and business background could bring a new perspective to the administration and further the process of the Abraham Accords.
