A 20-year-old in China is facing torture, sleep deprivation, and 14 years in prison—but not for high-profile crimes like murder or arson. The sentence comes from running a website that posts personal information on Chinese Communist leader Xi Jinping and his family.

20-year-old Niu Tengyu was among the 24 arrested and charged in 2019. He provides tech support for a wiki-based forum. The website previously posted the address and a photo of Xi Jinping’s only daughter Xi Mingze.
