With members of the “Avengers” cast, NBA superstar LeBron James, and Madonna voicing support for Kamala Harris, and Jake Paul releasing a pro-Donald Trump video, more celebrities are weighing in on the 2024 presidential race.
On Oct. 31, “Avengers” stars Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Don Cheadle, Danai Gurira, and Paul Bettany endorsed Harris in a video.
Madonna shared on Instagram that she flew back from Paris to vote for Harris. Lakers star LeBron James, a known Trump critic, endorsed Harris, stating that “the choice is clear” when he considers the future for his children and family.
Social media influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul endorsed former President Donald Trump in an 18-minute-long video posted Thursday. The 27-year-old said his goal was to provide information to “the potentially undecided voter,” encouraging people to vote based on facts and their own research, rather than relying on media influence.
“Even if you hate me for making this video, my message to you is I love you, ” he added. “I have friends that are Democrats and Republicans, and we all go about our lives in one harmony.”
Public Figures Throw Their Weight Behind Trump
Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the second man to ever walk on the moon, and former NFL quarterback Brett Farve have endorsed Trump.
UFC President Dana White, a longtime friend of Trump, endorsed the 45th president at the Republican National Convention. Actors Mel Gibson, Dennis Quaid, Jon Voight, Rosanne Barr, and Zachary Levi have also shown support, as have musicians Kid Rock, Amber Rose, Chris Janson, Jason Aldean, and Azealia Banks.
Other supporters include Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, Lady Gaga’s father Joe Germanotta, Dave Ramsey, and Dr. Phil McGraw.
Public-facing billionaires Elon Musk and Steve Wynn are also backing Trump, along with donors Bill Ackman, Marc Andreessen, Dan Snyder, Linda McMahon, Miriam Adelson, Kelcy Warren, Timothy Dunn, the Uihleins, Phil Ruffin, Jeff Sprecher, Kelly Loeffler, Jimmy John Liautaud, Bernard Marcus, Robert “Woody” Johnson, and the Winklevoss twins.
Harris Has Long List of Celebrity Supporters
Rapper Cardi B spoke at a Harris rally in Milwaukee on Friday, joined by GloRilla, The Isley Brothers, Flo Milli, MC Lyte, and DJ Gemini Gilly.
Former movie star and California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger endorsed Harris, but criticized both parties and said he “hates politics more than ever.”
Reggaeton star Don Omar voiced support for Harris, saying that she “empowers and prioritizes dignity for all.”
Billionaire pop star Taylor Swift endorsed Harris on Instagram just after her debate with Trump. She joins musicians Gracie Abrams, Bad Bunny, Ricky Martin, Eminem, Stevie Nicks, Willie Nelson, and Beyoncé, who rallied with Harris in Houston.
Actors backing Harris include Octavia Spencer, Julia Roberts, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Aniston, and Mark Hamill. Film directors Spike Lee and Ken Burns, along with West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin, have voiced their support, as have Democratic former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and Jimmy Carter. Billionaire supporters include Mark Cuban, Bill Gates, Laurene Powell Jobs, and Sheryl Sandberg.
Other public figures including Ana Navarro, Anna Wintour, Bill Nye, and Martha Stewart have also pledged their votes for Harris.
