Amid a mental health crisis among the nation’s youth, 42 state attorneys general are urging Washington to put a warning label on social media platforms.

NTD speaks to Carl Szabo, the Vice President and general counsel for NetChoice and a professor of internet law at George Mason University’s Scalia Law School, who says such labels are unnecessary and something of a “fig-leaf action” on the part of legislators. He believes that what society needs, instead, is better parenting to protect young people from the harms and dangers of social media platforms.
