January 14, 2025

Shen Yun Performing Arts successfully closed the curtain on two performances in Torino, Italy, taking audience members on a journey through ancient China on Jan. 11 and Jan. 12. Theatergoers marveled and applauded Shen Yun’s artistry.

“This is an amazing show. I arrived this afternoon by plane, just to see this show. And we will leave tomorrow night,” said Giovanni Cardinale, who is a doctor.

“Energy comes from so many things. It comes from the colors, it comes from the dance, the movements, the synchronicity.”

“The show was very good. It’s exciting, engaging, and the music and performers were beautiful,” said Elena Bianco, who is a doctor.

“The dancers are very professional. The stories are very unique. I had never seen anything like it. The technological aspect, with the digital screen as a background, is very pleasant, interactive, and dynamic,” said Elisa Napolitano, a biomedical engineer.

“The choreography, the dancing, the music. Especially the fact that there was an orchestra, I really liked that,” said Nadia Mazzucco, who is a business owner.

Shen Yun aims to revive 5,000 years of divinely inspired ancient Chinese culture and values from before communism. Showcasing them through classical Chinese dance, music, and stories.

“You can’t imagine the emotion until you’ve experienced it. Then, you’re overwhelmed with feelings, and your heart is filled with these beautiful messages. Congratulations to everyone, the musicians and artists, who were truly splendid,” said Antonio Marino, who is a technical designer. “Come and see the performance because it is unique. And I really think there are no other opportunities to see a performance that is so real.”

“We are very pleased with the serenity, harmony, and message of hope that this music, this dance, and your smiles left us with,” said Marco Vincenti, who is a former company executive.

“The show was definitely very good and very interesting. I think it definitely deserves to be seen, and so I encourage everyone who loves music and entertainment to attend this beautiful event,” said Ugo Tortone, who is the area manager of the tourism sector in Piedmont, Liguria, and Val d’Aosta.

Shen Yun will perform in Milan, Italy, from Jan.14 to Jan. 20.
