On Jan. 7, Shen Yun Performing Arts successfully concluded its six-day tour in Aix-en-Provence, France. Audience members extended enthusiastic praise, with dance teacher and choreographer Francine Lecomte describing Shen Yun as “truly magnificent, magical.”
Jean-Claude Rostain, a neuroscientist, said: “I think it’s a very, very, very beautiful show that I’d recommend to many people.”
Thierry Delacoste, a business owner, said: “The performance was remarkable. I think the choreography was very, very beautiful and the musicality, the music was also exceptional.”
Ms. Lecomte said: “I loved the show. It’s a truly magnificent, magical show, with a lot of deep insights into Chinese spirituality, tradition, and what’s happening in China today. ”
Jacques Fertier, a former sales director, said: “It’s wonderful, full of colors, finesse, and rhythm. I discovered many aspects of the various regions of China and this truly diverse culture. ”
Antonin Dagorn, a business director, said: “Extraordinary! I think it takes a lot of perseverance and constant training to achieve this extraordinary, precisely-tuned performance.”
“It’s true that to see this show and to discover all this mixture with all these colors, all the Divinities, and also the musicians and the philharmonic orchestra, is really a magical and very powerful moment,” Ms. Lecomte said.
Shen Yun captivated the French audience with the aesthetic beauty and profound spiritual heritage of millennia-old Chinese culture.
“It’s absolutely perfect. It’s fabulous. It’s very, very refined. It’s very, very beautiful,” Mr. Fertier said.
“I think it takes a lot of perseverance and constant training to achieve this extraordinary, precisely-tuned performance,” Mr. Rostain said.
“When there are scenes that are more about the spiritual and the Divine, you can truly feel a sense of lightness, of something ethereal. The movements are slowed and then accelerate a bit more, creating a real sense of rhythm. There really is something light and fluid that takes you towards the Heavens, in a way,” Ms. Lecomte said.
“This spirituality is in all the relationships that exist between humans, this civilization, nature, and between Heaven and Earth. It’s something that showcases itself throughout the performance,” Mr. Fertier said.
“I believe it’s something that’s somewhat missing in our society. We lack a bit of spirituality. We focus heavily on reality, consumption, and making money,” Mr. Dagorn said.
“We feel luminous, we feel full of color, full of beautiful energies, and we feel connected to the divine,” Ms. Lecomte said.
