Sabina Shoal: New Flashpoint for Beijing and Manila

There’s a new flashpoint in the South China Sea between China and the Philippines. In the past week, vessels from both countries have clashed near the Sabina Shoal, an atoll in the Philippines’ Exclusive Economic Zone. Beijing also lays claim to it.
