New polls suggest that Robert F. Kennedy’s exiting the presidential race and his endorsement of former President Donald Trump will likely benefit the Republican nominee at the ballot box. However, the Democratic National Committee is seeking to downplay any boost, with campaign adviser Ramsey Reid saying Kennedy’s withdrawal changes “nothing.”
NTD speaks to Jeff Crouere, a political analyst and TV and radio host, who says he considers Kennedy’s move “a huge boost for the Trump campaign.”
“Maybe Kennedy’s impact is not as big as some people think, but it can be very small and still be the difference,” Crouere said in reference to the Kennedy boost in battleground states.
