According to AP and CNN, prosecutors on Tuesday filed the charge of attempted assassination of a major presidential candidate against suspect Ryan Wesley Routh. Attorney General Merrick Garland said, “The Justice Department would spare no resource to ensure accountability in this matter.” The DOJ released a note Monday allegedly written by Routh, which offered a $150,000 bounty to whoever would “finish the job.”
