Recession Possible Given July Jobs Report: Economic Analyst

According to last month’s employment situation summary from the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, jobs grew to 114,000, missing estimates by tens of thousands, and unemployment rose from 3.5 percent a year ago to 4.3 percent. NTD’s Chris Beers spoke with Vance Gin, former chief economist at the Office of Management and Budget, about why analysts say these numbers signal a recession.
