Florida will soon block banks from denying services based on political opinions or religious beliefs. The new law takes effect on July 1 and affects all financial institutions.

Recently, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody accused one of the largest financial services companies in the United States, Fidelity Charitable, of sometimes refusing to facilitate donations to religious or conservative groups.
