America is reacting to the news that President Joe Biden has dropped out of the presidential race. The president says he will finish out the remainder of his term, but says his bid for reelection is over. He endorsed U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris for the democratic party nomination Sunday.

Sir Keir Starmer has set out plans to curb reliance on foreign workers by improving skills training in England. A new body will bring together central and local government, businesses, trade unions, and training providers and train the homegrown workforce to meet the needs of the economy.

The prime minister said he respected Joe Biden’s decision not to seek another term in the white house. Starmer had talks with Biden earlier this month while in Washington for the NATO summit. he declined to comment on his relationship with u-s vice president Kamala Harris, but insisted the UK would work with whoever became president.
