A man suspected of attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump appeared in federal court on Monday, where he was charged with two gun-related offenses. Officials have identified the suspect as Ryan Wesley Routh, 58. He was spotted by a Secret Service agent on Sunday holding a rifle as he hid in the bushes at the former president’s golf course in Florida. President Joe Biden said that the Secret Service needs more personnel.
