Both Israel and the Hamas terrorist group said Friday they will continue fighting in Gaza, following Israel’s killing of top Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. This came while the Biden administration expressed optimism at the situation, saying Sinwar’s death represents an “inflection point” for possible ceasefire.
President Joe Biden met with the German chancellor in Berlin for discussion on the wars in the Middle East and Ukraine. He said Sinwar’s death creates an opportunity to seek a path to peace and a better future in Gaza without Hamas.
Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris will campaign in the key battleground state of Michigan. Harris will make campaign stops in Grand Rapids, Lansing and Oakland County, while Trump has activities in Oakland County and Detroit.
