Israel says it struck Hezbollah and Hamas terrorists across Lebanon and the West Bank Thursday. The Israel Defense Forces said Thursday it struck around 200 Hezbollah targets overnight in Lebanese territory, including on the militant group’s infrastructure sites, weapons storage facilities and observation posts in southern Lebanon. The U.S. said it was discussing possible Israeli retaliation against Iran’s missile attack this week. President Biden indicated Israel may strike Iran’s oil facilities but said he would not support an attack on Iran’s nuclear sites.
On Thursday, former President Trump and Vice President Harris held dueling campaign events in key battleground states. Trump urged people in Michigan to vote early. Harris campaigned in Wisconsin alongside Republican Liz Cheney. Polls show a tight race between Harris and Trump in both states.
