NTD Good Morning Full Broadcast (July 24)

Live Chat

President Joe Biden will address the nation on Wednesday evening. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will also address a joint session of Congress on July 24, though some lawmakers are saying they won’t attend. That’s either in protest at the war in Gaza, or due to previously scheduled events.

The director of the Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, has resigned. The move comes after heated questioning by lawmakers and calls for her to step down. In addition, new details are now emerging about the attempt on former President Donald Trump’s life. Lawmakers are putting together a clearer timeline after police and Secret Service testimony.

The U.S. Ambassador to China is urging the Chinese regime to release all Falun Gong practitioners who have been detained for their beliefs. The Chinese Communist Party has brutally targeted Falun Gong in China for their spiritual beliefs for the past 25 years. The regime has arrested and imprisoned large numbers of Falun Gong practitioners, and even killed many of them for their organs. The ambassador made his statement earlier this week, shortly after the State Department called for an end to Beijing’s long-running persecution campaign.
