Tesla CEO Elon Musk is involved with business deals in China, raising concerns of whether the communist regime in Beijing would use its hefty market as leverage over Mr. Musk to influence the operations of SpaceX’s Starshield that provides military services to the U.S. federal government. In light of the apparent national security risks, Gordon Chang, a political commentator and the author of “The Coming Collapse of China,” says U.S. lawmakers should make Mr. Musk choose between controlling Tesla or SpaceX, but not both.
