The search for a young boy ended with a tragic discovery in Strongsville, Ohio early on Tuesday after authorities recovered the body of the missing child.
“After many hours of searching by multiple agencies, our search has concluded,” the Strongsville Police Department wrote on Twitter.
Authorities have not released any details surrounding a cause of death or where the 8-year-old boy, identified by only his first name Christopher, was found deceased.
The department said they will provide an update at a later time once more details become available.

Police said Christoper has disabilities and was reported missing Monday afternoon in Strongsville. He was last seen at a Holiday Inn hotel in the city located on Royalton Road.
Additional details surrounding his stay at the hotel were not provided.
