Catholic Man Overcomes Pride, Greed to Provide Morality-Based Investment Advice

Marc Lozano’s journey has come full circle in terms of his affiliation with the Catholic Church. Though born into a Catholic family and having received the sacraments, he didn’t actively practice his faith. Instead, he focused on striving to be the brightest student or the most accomplished basketball player. However, despite garnering accolades and commendations, his fiercely competitive mindset only left him feeling profoundly discontented.

His winding journey toward meaning exposed him to the philosophies of Kant and Aquinas, and throughout this process, he returned to his faith intellectually. But at a time when he was secure in his dream job at the NBA, he said a divine calling made it clear that he must also act on his faith.

And so, with his third baby on the way and a new mortgage, Lozano quit his job to start a faith-based business. The company, Christ Centered Capital, offers opinion and analytical services on Christian-morals-based investing—for free.
