Maryland State Senator: Legislation Planned to Streamline Process of Getting Baltimore Port Back in Operation

Amidst the fallout from the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Md., NTD spoke to Republican State Sen. Johnny Ray Salling, who represents Baltimore County. Mr. Salling said legislation is in planning to streamline the process of getting Baltimore Port back up and running. He said he intends to work with local, state, and federal partners to help the area emerge from the catastrophe, and to extend the state of emergency beyond 30 days.
