LAUSD to Ban Cell Phone Use During School Day

Students in the Los Angeles Unified School District may soon be banned from using their cell phones throughout the entire school day as officials consider an updated policy. The ban, which includes lunch and breaks, aims to improve students’ interpersonal communication skills and reduce social media distress and cyberbullying.
