A recent report by U.S. Immigration and Law Enforcement (ICE) revealed significant numbers of illegal immigrants with criminal histories on ICE’s national docket. That includes a high volume of illegal immigrants convicted of homicide and sexual assault.
The numbers continue to rise on the southern border, but what has gone largely unnoticed is the record-breaking number of crossings over the northern border from Canada by individuals on the terror watch list.
A key finding in the report is that “under current processes, CBP and ICE cannot ensure they are keeping high-risk noncitizens without identification from entering the country. Additionally, TSA cannot ensure its vetting and screening procedures prevent high-risk noncitizens who may pose a threat to the flying public from boarding domestic flights.”
How serious is the risk posed to U.S. national security?
We discuss the dangers posed by cartels, drugs, and human trafficking with our panelists Marcos Schotgues, editor-in-chief of Epoch Times Brazil, and Sheriff Roy Boyd. We also have a special interview with the former head of ICE, Tom Homan.
