Huffington Post Reporter Matt Fuller is “pretty sure,” he’s contracted the CCP Virus, commonly known as the novel coronavirus, which causes the disease COVID-19, he says on Twitter.

NTD refers to the novel coronavirus, which causes the disease COVID-19, as the CCP virus because the Chinese Communist Party’s coverup and mismanagement allowed the virus to spread throughout China and create a global pandemic.

“Anyway, pretty sure I actually have Coronavirus and it’s not going well, “Fuller wrote on Twitter on Saturday.

Soon after Fuller’s message, his Twitter account filled with statements of support.

“Hang in there!!! We need you!” said one.

“Please be in touch with your doctor, Matt, and drop everything unrelated to taking care of yourself. You come first,” said another.

Fuller covers Congress for HuffPost and formerly for Roll Call. HuffPost has not issued a statement on Fuller’s contamination nor on whether any other employees at the agency are affected.

“Sorry dude! I’m on day 6 and it gets the worse around day 4 of symptoms. Get some sleep!” said another.

Fuller and HuffPost did not respond to a request for comment.

Sen. Rand Paul Tests Positive for COVID-19

Meanwhile, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) tested positive for the CCP virus and is currently being quarantined, his office announced on Sunday afternoon.

“He is feeling fine and is in quarantine. He is asymptomatic and was tested out of an abundance of caution due to his extensive travel and events. He was not aware of any direct contact with any infected person,” his office wrote in a statement.

With the positive test, Paul, who unsuccessfully ran for president in 2016, is perhaps the highest-profile official in the United States to have contracted the virus.

Paul’s office wrote that he is planning on returning to the Senate after his quarantine is over.

Paul will still “work for the people of Kentucky at this difficult time,” his office said in a Twitter post. “Ten days ago, our D.C. office began operating remotely, hence virtually no staff has had contact with Senator Rand Paul.”
