Israel’s military says it recovered the bodies of six hostages murdered by Hamas in southern Gaza over the weekend. The Israel Defense Forces say the terrorists murdered the hostages shortly before an IDF operation that would have rescued them.
The IDF says it found the bodies in a tunnel in Rafah near the border with Egypt about half a mile away from a tunnel in which another hostage was rescued last week.
Thousands of protesters in Israel reacted by taking to the streets, demanding the government reach a hostage cease-fire deal.
