Half of New Nurses Trained Overseas

Concerns have been raised about the U.K.’s over-reliance on overseas nurses and midwives after new figures suggest that nearly half of new workers come from abroad. Figures also show that more nurses and midwives left the register last year, with many quoting pressure as the reason for leaving.
