A day of Gullah Geechee cultural celebration turned into tragedy when a gangway collapsed at a Savannah, Georgia, boat dock on Saturday. Rescuers pulled victims from the water amid a frantic scene. Officials say up to 40 people were standing on the gangway to board a ferry back to the mainland when it gave out. Seven people died and three others were hospitalized after rescuers took action.
