Journalist Catherine Herridge spoke out Thursday about how after her termination, her former employer, CBS, seized her documents and journalistic files, including confidential source information. Ms. Herridge was speaking at a House Judiciary Subcommittee centering on press freedom and protection, where she called the CBS move “an attack on investigative journalism.”
The award-winning investigative reporter told her story, and recounted how she says her work was violated by the media giant after they terminated her employment. With the help of SAG-AFTRA advocates, she was able to regain access to her work, she said.
