It’s the time of year for celebration but, unfortunately, some 75 percent of fireworks-related injuries happen around July 4, according to officials from Santa Clara County in California. County supervisor Cindy Chavez and first responders there are reminding the public to respect fireworks laws. NTD heard what locals had to say about July 4 fireworks in the area.
