Police forces across the country are turning to drones more often to help them keep the peace and use their resources wisely. For example just north of Washington, the Montgomery County Police Department is reportedly planning to double the size of its drone fleet over the next few months. NTD speaks with Peter Forcelli, a retired NYPD homicide detective and a retired ATF deputy assistant director, who says the benefits of these drones, such as advance reconnaissance, outweigh the risks, like inadvertently capturing sensitive information that is protected by the Fourth Amendment.
