Banned Cotton Found in One-Fifth of US, Global Stores

Banned Chinese exports are reportedly sneaking through loopholes in U.S. law again.

Research published on Tuesday shows nearly one-fifth of the products it tested use banned cotton from the Xinjiang region.

The United States accuses Beijing of committing human rights violations and genocide against the Uyghur ethnic group there and has banned the use of its products made with forced labor.
