Walz Comes Across as Down-to-Earth at DNC, GOP Will Likely Cast as Soft on China

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz formally accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination on Wednesday at the Democratic National Convention.

According to Jeff Crouere, a political analyst and a TV and radio host, he exhibited a down-to-earth persona. However, he said Republicans are likely to cast Walz as favoring the expansion of government and as being soft on communist China.
