Vigilance Is Key Right Now in Middle East: National Security Analyst

Around 40,000 U.S. troops are currently in the Middle East, and the Pentagon said Monday that more U.S. forces have been put on prepare to deploy orders. Meawhile, Iran threatened retaliation for Israel’s killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
NTD spoke with Rebecca Grant, a national security analyst and vice president of the Lexington Institute, who says that the U.S. military’s biggest role is to deter further conflict.
