Georgia’s prosecutor is “saying that Trump and his allies are basically acting like a criminal enterprise, like some drug gang, or mafia,” according to Paul Kamenar, lead counsel at the National Legal & Policy Center.
Former President Donald Trump was indicted a fourth time late Monday night in Fulton County, Georgia. The indictment alleges a “joined a conspiracy to unlawfully change the outcome of the election in favor of Trump.” He and 18 co-defendants face a total of 41 charges, 13 of which are against President Trump.
