Kenton Lee is a humble man from Idaho. He embarked on a remarkable journey that began in a Kenyan orphanage, where he witnessed a little girl’s torn shoes failing to accommodate her growing feet.
Motivated by this encounter, Mr. Lee designed The Shoe That Grows, a sandal-like piece of footwear with adjustable straps capable of expanding by up to five sizes.
Through his organization, Because International, Mr. Lee’s invention offers a practical solution to the challenges faced by families unable to afford multiple pairs of shoes for their children.
