Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar just wrote to 19 major international investment firms—like JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, and Blackrock—asking them to clarify their policies on fossil fuel investments.
The firms now have 60 days to reply to a series of questions about their fossil fuel policies. If a firm doesn’t reply it’ll be assumed they’re boycotting oil and gas companies and added to a final list.
