Many regions in North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee are still grappling with the destruction left by Hurricane Helene. Residents from numerous remote and severely affected areas say they aren’t receiving government help. But stories are also flowing in of communities stepping up and coming together to help one another through the carnage. A husband and wife in Eastern Tennessee are among those doing their best to support their community, which has been left in ruins.
